Advancement Flap Repair

Overview: 

This interactive course demonstrates how to perform a simple advancement flap. Skin flaps can be used as a form of facial reconstruction to correct surgical defects, for example following tumor removal during Mohs micrographic surgery.​ This course covers indications, common locations, and pre-operative considerations for advancement flap repairs, as well as the decision-making process, technique, and post-operative care.
